Bare Minimum (By Memory) aims to revisit those missing scenes and intimate moments, reconstructing bodily experiences that have become unfamiliar over time; small everyday experiences are deconstructed as gestures and re-enacted by characters across screens, accompanied by alternating sound and silence. Whether it’s playing an instrument or listening, reading or recounting. Sometimes, they plunge into their individual, solitary act; other times, they come together for simple and playful collaborations, allowing a certain mode of social interaction to function again. The old house suggests a fading past, and the ambiguity of time itself can only rely on the reconstruction of muscle memory to establish a new rhythm.
