“Bare Minimum (New light)” is a visual metaphor for those who struggle and for those whose voices have been deemed rebellious and suppressed to the point of distortion. Filmed mostly while the artist does his night running, mix with the found footage collected form Chinese social media during the year of 2022, the motion blur reduces fast-moving subjects and the dark cityscapes to dizzying lights. Figures are only glimpsed at or overheard in this moving image-memory composed of countless presents, too humble and insignificant to be recorded, that come together to form a monument of lights.

最小限度的（新的光）试图捕捉属于抗争的身影，以及那些被划分成为为无秩序的动作和被压抑至失真的声音，他们蛰伏在由无数个当下所组成的影像记忆之中，并汇聚为光的纪念碑。它基于所有已发生的历史都以光的形式被保存在宇宙之中的事实，在最快速的移动中等待被新的目光所接收。
